Hey Reader!
Happy Spring!! And Happy Autumn!!
It has been a strange few weeks around here. I've been under the weather with migraines and a sore throat. Then Xander, our mastiff/husky cross, was sick for a few days. He seems to be fine now, but it's always hard when our furry family members are unwell. When not dealing with illness I've been full of energy and itching for spring to arrive.
For the past few years I have signed up for the Go Clean Co Spring Cleaning challenge. It's a free challenge Sarah puts on. It includes give-aways, cleaning videos, tips, and motivational content over on Instagram which I find helps me want to get things done. You can download the checklist on her website. HouseWork (I'm not an affiliate, I just really love Sarah's approach to cleaning)
It's all free, and download the checklist automatically enters you into the grand prize draw, which is a cash prize plus a collection of favourite cleaning supplies.
Even if you do like me and just tackle cleaning things you don't normally get to, like the top of the kitchen cabinets and light fixtures, it's a fun way to get those jobs done.
In other news, around the Scattered Squirrel Treehouse, March is a very special month. March 8th is the anniversary of the day this little ole blog of mine was published. 14 years and counting of sharing printables and posts in this little corner of the internet. I still can't believe it's been that long.
I'm celebrating by planning a massive website overhaul. One of my continuing goals for the last couple of years has been to make the website easier to navigate. To make it easier for you to find the printables and posts that will serve you best. With over 600 posts and closing in on 2000 printables, it's a project that's very much needed.
Last year I updated and created the landing pages for all the different planner collections and some of the printable libraries. This year I'm focusing on updating older, but still relevant, blog posts and creating easier to navigate landing pages. I'm so excited to get started on this project and more important to get it finished so you can enjoy the new space.
It's going to take a few months, but I hope to bring you along on the journey.
That's pretty much it for behind the scenes things. I did also finally get my planning system all figured out and it's almost set up. Once I put the finishing touches on it, I'll record a video walk through or two to share it all.
Around the Treehouse
In addition to planning and working on the massive site overhaul, I've been working away on getting the dated calendars finished up. This year, the free dated calendars are in the Coastal Dreams Collection. The 26/27 Academic Calendars will be up on the blog on April 7th.
In the meantime, if you want to check out the rest of the collection, just click the button below. It will take you to the page on the blog with all the free printables currently available in this collection.
Be sure to let me know if there are any planner pages missing from this collection that you'd like to see added. I'm happy to make that happen.
In other news, the 26/27 calendars in the other collections are almost ready to be listed on the shop. Those will be launching on April 7th.
I'll be sending out an email with links to both the free calendars on the blog and the ones in the shop on April 7, 2026. I don't want to clutter up your inbox with emails you're not interested in, so if you'd like me to exclude you from the odd, extra emails, go ahead and click this link Update your profile and you can update your preference to say "No Promotional Emails".
That's all I have for you this month. While March hasn't been a slower month for me, it certainly was a quieter one in terms of what's ready to be shared now. I hope you enjoyed this chit chat anyway.
I'd love to know how things are going for you. Is spring springing where you are? Or is autumn autumning? Hit that reply and let me know how things are and lets keep this conversation going.
Until Next Time,
Thanks for hanging out with me!!
