How have you been since the last time I popped into your inbox? I truly hope that you're doing well.
October is one of my favourite months. The weather starts to cool, the air gets crisp, and blankets seem to become even more cozy. On a personal note, my husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary this month. It still feels like yesterday.
All in all, it's been a good month ... as long we ignore what happened last Friday.
Hair Cut Horror Show
My amazing husband surprised me on Friday by taking me to get my hair cut. (At a place I've been before - this is important to note that we didn't go somewhere new). All I wanted was a bit of trim, which would give me a chin length bob with some long layers. And to change things up a little I decided to get some long, face framing bangs.
Long story short - (oh that's punny) - my hair is now just long enough to tuck behind my ears. The layering was not blended well, it looks choppy and not in a good way. And my bangs .... she snipped them so fast I couldn't say stop. Like ran the comb down and snipped. Didn't level, didn't ask my opinion, just chopped .... I've never had bangs this short or this uneven. And that includes the first time I ever cut my own bangs. At least when I did it they came to my eyebrows not the middle of my forehead.
Needless to say I won't be going back. I'm very thankful toque season is almost upon us. Between hats and curling irons I'm hoping it won't be too painful to give my hair a few months to grow out before I go get it fixed somewhere else.
Planner Walk Through
Bad hair cut aside, I did get the planner walk through filmed. I recorded this video at least 50 times trying to get it right. It's still not perfect, but I hope you enjoy it.
If you're someone who makes videos regularly, you have my utmost respect. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I underestimated how much time and work was needed just to film it.
I learned a lot while doing it, and actually, in the end it was more fun than I was expecting. I'm looking forward to making more for the website.

I said I was going to kick off the subscriber only printables with a personalized printable this month. I'm going to send it out in it's own email next Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Around the Treehouse
Over on the blog, this last month has been a lot of fun stuff. I published a post that took a look back at some of the first cleaning printables that I shared on the blog. Those actually inspired me to create the new ones you saw in the video. There was also September's Reader Requested post - in addition to a lined, undated version of the Peachy Green Calendars, I also made divider tabs for every collection that didn't already have one. So if you like matching tabs for your planner dividers I've got you covered!

I haven't added anything to the shop this past month, however I have been toying with the idea of adding other products, not just printable calendars. I'm thinking maybe some mugs, hats, and stickers or something to start with. I'll let you know next month how it turns out.
